December Ipsy Glam Bag Subscription Review

So far as I can tell thus far, Ipsy is a monthly Makeup/Glam bag that sends 4 – 5 product samples (some are full size), it may contain skin care products in later iterations. The cost of the Ipsy bag is $10 a month with shipping included and is a great way to try new products inexpensively.

A nice vivid mail pouch that lets you know your bag is HERE!!

Everything arrived in the silver makeup bag with a small informational card about the products and a brochure about their style collection.

What was in the bag:

Mai Couture Highlighter Paper pack of 25 – $14.00
the papers are a great shortcut for highlighting the top of your cheek and brow bones
Full Size NYX Loose Pearl Shadow in Charcoal Pearl (kind of a sparkly grey) – $3.00
This seems to be a very pigment dense shadow and seems to get everywhere if you are not careful
Full Size Mirabella Prime for Face & Eyes – $29.00
I liked this primer, it did not bead up over my moisturizer or under my foundation (yes, that has been an issue with a previously used primer and it was not a pretty sight while trying to head out the door!)
.03 oz. Urban Decay Glide-On eye pencil in zero (black) – $14.75
It’s black, it’s eyeliner and it actually ran smoothly over my previously applied eyeshadow
Full Size Be a Bombshell Lip Gloss in Hot Mess – $14.00
I have not tried this yet, it is very red and I am hoping the gloss part of the formula will mellow the appearance
The approximate price of the products this month is $75.00. I only paid $10.00 , seriously, this is such a farking deal even if you only use one or two of the products they sent you! I am not too makeup focused, seeing that I spend most of my time working from home and taking care of a 2.5 year old, but all of these products are not only useful but such a great value to boot! Very excited to see next month’s glam bag!
