Yeah! My February Birchbox is here!
February’s theme is “Red Carpet Ready”
Included Product Information Sheet
First Peek!
Jouer Matte Moisture Tint – $1.56
I haven’t tried a tinted moisturizer in ages so this will be a good product to re-visit. I just have so much hyper-pigmentation that for a long time it has been moisturizer then foundation, now I also opt for a highly pigmented BB cream.
Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara in Noir Midnight – $7.00 (I am guessing it is about a quarter of the full size)
This is only the second mascara I have received in a subscription box! My current mascara is ready to be tossed, so this is very welcome!
Skin&Co Roma Cleansing Body Gel with Olive & Sicilian Orange Extracts – $4.15
I do not use shower or body gel very often, but this smells amazing so I will be making and exception in the near future!
Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator – $5.65
I hope this works, as I mentioned above, anything to help minimize my hyper-pigmentation is welcome!
Ghirardelli Milk & Caramel Square – $0.50
Mmmmm, Chocolate and caramel, a lovely treat! The kiddo and I shared this right after the picture was taken!
The approximate value of this month’s Birchbox is $18.86. This is well above what I spent and I will be able to use each and every one of these products! Overall I am happy with my subscription and look forward to next month’s box.
Side question for my readers – Do any of you suffer from hyper-pigmentation? If so, what product(s) do you use?
Hello! I’m so happy you got a Birchbox because I didn’t get one (they ran out???) but atleast I can see everything!! I also have hyperpigmentation and I wish I could tell you it’s magically gone from something, but it’s not. I went to a dermatologist who suggested laser treatments. I declined (very expensive) and so she gave me a perscription for a retinol gel. It works ok.. I use a bleaching type cream, but with no real results. Tarte Amazonian clay foundation does cover it rather nicely though so I would give that a shot! Also, exfoliating is supposed to be good because it will scruff off the top layers of skin so the skin turnover may be faster. I want to try clinques dark spot remover that I see commercials for, but I am trying to use my derm-referred items first. Good luck!
The body gel looks great! I’m a little jealous about that one. I just posted the review of my February Birchbox on my blog. I received some amazing beauty products this month too!
